NVFESPB – Open House!!! Come out and see what the whole ‘Pipes & Drums’ thing is all about! The Northern VA Firefighters’ Emerald Society Pipes & Drums is looking for YOU! We are holding an Open House to recruit new members. Come out for a couple hours to try our instruments, see (and try on) our uniforms, and meet all the members of the band (including some founding members that have been here since 1983). We’ll be providing the history of Pipes & Drums in the fire service, the heritage behind the music we play and the uniform we wear, what we do, why we do it, and answering ANY questions you may have. Ever think about doing something a little different with GREAT people for a great cause? Here’s your chance. Come see the band/uniforms/instruments up close and personal and see what we are all about. The band is looking for new members…..could it be you? There’s only one way to find out!
