This weekend band members participated in the Chincoteague Old Fashioned Christmas Parade and the Williamsburg Christmas Parade. Thank you to the friends and family who came out to support us this weekend!
Happy Holidays from NVFESPB!

Happy Veterans’ Day! Today band members braved frigid temperatures to pipe in the American flag during the annual Manassas Veterans’ Day Ceremony. Current and past band members represent the Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Marines, and Army. Thank you to our brothers and sisters who have served!

Today our band marched in the 17th annual Northern Virginia Veterans Parade, honoring all veterans and their families in Old Town Manassas. We then had the honor of playing for our friends and brave veterans at American Legion Post 10.
A mini-band will be performing at the Manassas Veterans Day Ceremony on Nov. 11 at 10:30am in the Harris Pavilion. See you there!

Congratulations to Fairfax County Fire & Rescue Department Recruit Class 166!

Today members of the band had the honor of playing at the Fairfax County Fire & Rescue Retirement Association ceremony. Members of the association and their families gathered to remember those who have passed in the last year, and reflect upon the many ways association members serve our community.

Happy Fourth of July! The band marched in the City of Fairfax Independence Day Parade today. This parade is in conjunction with Fairfax’s “Future Firefighters Day” which aims to provide children and families with activities on fire safety and education.
Check out the band’s Facebook page for more pictures and videos of the parade!

This past weekend the band joined with members of service bands from across the Commonwealth to honor our fallen. The 28th annual Virginia Fallen Firefighters & Emergency Medical Services Memorial Service was held on Saturday, June 7, 2025 in Richmond, VA.
